Look not for the tender path

Look not for the tender path.

Instead run straight for the thicket.

Go towards the brush where in order to pass you must use all your might to clear the way for each new step. And do not stop for rest until you reach the very end.

And when you come upon a rocky road, dismount your horse & remove your shoes.

So that your soles, the very things in charge of carrying you onward are sturdy enough so that you might also walk taller.

Do not look for the tender path, the one which has been mowed down and paved by the footsteps of others.

When given the choice, choose not the easy route — for that my friend is where the greatest danger is sure to be found.

For a life un-lived is the greatest tragedy of them all. And no grit is to be gained until you take that step, beyond the threshold of your Comfort Zone.
